4G / LTE body worn camera
Hytera’s flagship body worn camera, VM780 takes functionality to the next level with live video streaming via Hytera’s HyTalk application. With a nano SIM slot, VM780 can broadcast video and PTT voice messages over wide areas utilising both public (4G / LTE) or private (Wi-Fi) networks.
Other elements of the VM780’s feature set are also a step forward. It supports AES256 encryption for the highest level of data security, and its camera lens unit is rotatable by 216 degrees, giving extra flexibility when wearing the RVM.
Topping off the VM780’s complete solution is its Android-based operating system which, accompanied by 2.8 inch touch screen, gives users an experience similar to a smartphone which results in minimal staff training being required.
Hytera bodycams – key features
1. Remote Speaker Microphone
Use your RVM to communicate as a remote speaker microphone – connect your Hytera radio via Bluetooth or cable, then simply use the PTT button.
2. Flexible Garment Mounting Options
Hytera RVMs come with a flexible universal mounting clip as standard, with an industry-standard “Klick Fast” holder also available for compatibility with most security uniforms.
3. High Video and Audio Quality
Record footage in 1080P at up to 60 frames / sec, capture crystal-clear audio and live stream either to other bodycams or a control room using the HyTalk application.
4. Docking and Data Management
RVMs can be charged, programmed and data-managed using Hytera’s software options. Connect via Micro-USB (all models) or via a multi-charger dock (VM580D, VM685 & VM780).
5. Ergonomics and Simple Use
One-touch record and emergency buttons enable fast and simple use in any situation. Pre-and post-record can be set up to ensure there is no risk of missing vital evidence.
On-site Real-time Video Streaming
With 3G / 4G / Wi-Fi, VM780 can transmit on-site real-time video back to the command & dispatch center, to let the dispatcher see how events are actually unfolding in the field.
AUDIO GROUP CALL
Using the dispatcher, VM780 can initiate one-to-one and one-to-many calls with other VM780s over 3G / 4G / Wi-Fi. The instant communications can greatly enhance work efficiency.
HIGH EFFICIENT VIDEO COMPRESSION
VM780 supports H.265 video compression technology, which requires much narrower network bandwidth for real time HD video transmission than that of H.264.
HIGH CAPACITY BATTERY
Equipped with a 3500 mAh battery, VM780 can provide more than 9 hours battery life for continuous video shooting with 720P@30FPS. Battery replacement is supported.
216° HD ROTATABLE CAMERA
The VM780 lens can be rotated vertically by 216°, which can provide optimal angle of view and flexible wearing positions for users to capture critical events.
ADVANCED DATA ENCRYPTION
VM780 adopts the AES256 advanced encryption technology to protect all the captured evidence (including images, audio, and videos) in local storage or during transmission.
